This block heater (120 V, 1500 W) can be used on Cummins 6-cylinder, flat-plate-design engines of the H/NT/NH/N family (including 743 CID, 855 CID, 927 CID, and N14) when the 1/2" NPT opening is used. The 6-bolt flat plate is installed on the right
side of the engine, using either the forward or rear opening depending on clearance.
This block heater mounts directly into the water jacket of the engine, reducing engine wear due to cold starts by up to 50 percent.
It comes with a 2-wire, grounded, 6 feet (1.8m) HPN cord and plug, and ships with a 12-month warranty.
