PRODUCT NOTES
This block heater (240 V, 1500 W) can be used on:
- Caterpillar 3176 10.3L engines (through 1995). ,br/>It replaces the 3/4” (0.75”) threaded plug on the right side of the engine, just below the head.
- Caterpillar 3304 and 3306 engines.
It replaces the 3/4” (0.75”) plug on the left side of the engine.
This block heater mounts directly into the water jacket of the engine, reducing engine wear due to cold starts by up to 50 percent.
It comes with a 2-wire, grounded, 6 feet (1.8m) HPN cord and plug, and ships with a 12-month warranty.
