PRODUCT NOTES
This block heater (120 V, 1000 W) can be used on:
- Caterpillar 3208 engines. It replaces any of the 3/4" (0.75") plugs on the water transfer casting (on the right front of the engine). This is the recommended aftermarket installation for this model.
- John Deere engines with a 3/4" (0.75") NPT opening in the rear face of the block.
You should check the exhaust routing before installation to determine if a heat shield is required.
This block heater mounts directly into the water jacket of the engine, reducing engine wear due to cold starts by up to 50 percent.
It comes with a 2-wire, grounded, 6 feet (1.8m) HPN cord and plug, and ships with a 12-month warranty.
