The DS-8N-8929 Standard #1 Main Bearing Pair has a grooved upper shell with one hole. It is for a 3.50 inch journal and can be used in the following Caterpillar engine models:
- 3140, 3145, 3150, 3160
- 3208 with an engine serial number of:
- 40S1 through 40S15611
- 75V1 through 75V2304
- 79V1408 through 79V2200;
- 90N1 through 90N13233
They are typically utilized in the following applications:
